Definition of doping
Doping is defined as a phenomenon in which one or more anti-doping rules are violated. Therefore, it is not only important to monitor the composition of nutrients and medicines, but also to know and understand the anti-doping rules that define the World Anti-Doping Code. - ..is evidence of the presence of any quantity of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers in your body. This is a rule of unconditional responsibility. It does not matter whether the Athlete has used the Prohibited Substance intentionally, unintentionally, negligently or otherwise. Exceptions are substances for which tolerance limits are explicitly quantified or which can be produced endogenously.
- ... you are using or attempting to use a banned substance or method. Success or failure in the use of a substance or method is not critical. As proof of use or attempt to use can also serve as an admission or third party witness.
- … Avoid, refuse, or fail to appear for sampling without due cause upon prompting, or otherwise avoid doping control. This includes any refusal to doping control, such as hiding from DCO, failing to doping intentionally or through negligence, intentionally avoiding doping control, etc.
- ...... violate the duty to inform on the whereabouts. Athlete who is in the registry for testing out of competition, is responsible for providing and updating information on the whereabouts so that it can be reached for inspection without notice. Violation of the Athlete's Availability Requirements is failure to provide this required information or failure to be found at the DCO reported whereabouts. However, this only applies to a small group of top athletes who have been explicitly notified by the relevant anti-doping organization.
- … You are cheating or attempting to cheat during any part of the doping control. This includes behavior that interferes with the doping control process and is not included in the definition of prohibited methods, e.g. Changing codes, falsifying records and the like. Cheating also includes the deliberate distortion of doping control, or attempt to influence the DCO or attempted intimidation of a witness.
- … You are in possession of a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method. This is the possession of banned substances out of competition athlete or athlete support personnel in any location unless it is shown that a substance is intended for therapeutic purposes for athletes with so-called. Therapeutic Use Exemption. Possession of substances prohibited only during the competition is penalized only during the competition period. This also applies to the athlete's accompanying staff.
