- What is doping?- Education materials
You may have heard this word in sports circles and in the media. If it seems to you that any of this information may be true, read the following important facts. Doping is a way for some athletes to illegally increase their performance. When we talk about doping, most people think of the word steroids, but doping is not just this banned substance. Some athletes use other banned substances, such as stimulants, growth hormones, doping masking substances, narcotics and even marijuana. Others use prohibited methods, such as blood transfusions and gene doping, or refuse to undergo doping tests, or even try to illegally manipulate samples during collection. If you want to continue participating in various sports competitions or competitions and you do not have a clear conscience, you must realize that sooner or later you will be discovered and captured. The banned substance in the body will be detected and you will then receive a well-deserved punishment.

Food supplements under the microscope
Dietary supplements are currently an important hegemon in the field of recreational and elite sports. In the United States alone, retail sales of supplements are expected to reach several hundred billion dollars in one year. Supplements are sold on our continent mainly through fitness centers, sports clubs and specialized stores. However, according to a European Union study, some of them are contaminated, mainly steroids, and to a lesser extent stimulants. Because our goal is to maintain the integrity of sports without the use of prohibited substances and in the spirit of fair play, we decided to develop this material which should serve for better orientation in this area and as a guide on how to play clean sports, not become an unwanted doping sinner or even endanger your health. The following lines should be read by persons who are engaged in physical activities, whether as active recreational or elite athletes or as coaches, trainers, sports doctors or are "only" parents whose children play sports. -
Questions and answers
The aim of this material is to inform all athletes (not just the top ones) and their surroundings about how to play clean sport and how to reduce the danger of doping that you can use without being aware of it. We have selected the questions we most often encountered during trainings and discussions on this topic. Our recommendation for all athletes is as follows: Do clean sports and do not spoil your health by using banned substances that are harmful to health and can completely ruin the careers of top and performance athletes. We hope that with this publication we will contribute to better information about the pitfalls and dangers of doping of all persons engaged in physical activities, regardless of performance, age or gender. -

Last but not least, we also draw attention to the health consequences of the abuse of some doping substances. We hope that this publication will also contribute to raising awareness in the field of the fight against doping in sport. - Guide to the fight against doping in sport
